Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our detailing services, pricing, and process.
How long does a detail take?+
It depends on the package and the condition of your vehicle. A Gold Detail typically takes 1–2 hours, the Platinum Detail takes 2–3 hours, and the Diamond Full Reset can take 4–6 hours or more. Paint correction and ceramic coating services may take a full day. We'll give you an estimated timeframe when you book.
What's included in each package?+
Each package builds on the one before it. The Gold covers the essentials—hand wash, interior vacuum and wipe-down, wheels and tires. The Platinum adds deeper cleaning, spray sealant, and more attention to detail. The Diamond Full Reset is our most thorough package with deep interior extraction, steam, clay bar treatment, and upgraded paint protection. Visit our Services page for a full breakdown.
Do I need to make an appointment?+
Yes, we work by appointment to make sure every vehicle gets the time and attention it deserves. You can request a quote through our website or give us a call to schedule. We do our best to accommodate same-day and next-day requests when availability allows.
What happens if it rains after my detail?+
Rain won't ruin your detail. If your vehicle has a sealant or ceramic coating, water will bead up and roll off. For vehicles without protection, the paint is still clean underneath—it may just need a quick rinse. We monitor weather closely and will communicate with you if we need to reschedule.
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?+
We currently operate from our shop location to ensure we have access to all the tools, lighting, and equipment needed for the best results. This is especially important for paint correction and ceramic coating work. Contact us for the shop address and directions.
How often should I get my car detailed?+
For most daily drivers, we recommend a maintenance detail (Gold or Platinum) every 4–8 weeks. If your vehicle has a ceramic coating, you can stretch that to every 8–12 weeks with proper care in between. Vehicles exposed to heavy use, kids, pets, or outdoor parking may benefit from more frequent service.
What if a stain or odor doesn't come out completely?+
We use professional-grade products and techniques to tackle the toughest stains and odors, but some damage is permanent. Set-in dye transfers, bleach stains, burns, and long-term smoke damage may not be fully reversible. We'll always be upfront about what to expect before we start.
What's the difference between a car wash and a detail?+
A car wash focuses on the exterior surface—it removes loose dirt and rinses the car. A detail is a comprehensive cleaning and restoration process that addresses every surface inside and out. It includes hand-washing, decontamination, interior deep cleaning, protection, and often paint correction. The goal of a detail is to restore and protect, not just clean.
Do you offer ceramic coating?+
Yes. We offer both a 1-Year Ceramic Coating and a 3-to-5-Year Ceramic Coating. Both provide hydrophobic protection, UV resistance, and enhanced gloss. The longer-term option uses a more durable professional-grade product for maximum longevity. Paint correction is recommended (and sometimes required) before coating to ensure the best bond and finish.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is collected upon completion of the service. For larger jobs like ceramic coating, we may require a deposit at booking.
